How to restore leather bags
Having a leather bag to match with your outfit means having an elegant and refined accessory that you can wear at any time of the day, when out with friends for the happy hour time to a romantic dinner with your partner.
However, as with other accessories, a leather bag needs regular cleaning and care… because over time bags can get dirty, scratched, full of dust, or lose their color.
For those reasons, today, I’ve decided to give you some suggestions on how to restore the leather on your beloved bags.
Are you ready? Let’s start…
How to restore the leather bag
- Restore the leather.
In order to restore the leather on your handbag, I suggest you take cow’s milk and soak a piece of cotton cloth and place it on the bag, gently, all over the bag. Then wipe it dry with a dry cloth.
- Remove Halos.
To remove halos from your bag, take some facial cleansing milk and place it on the bag surface.
- Restore faded leather.
The solution is really simple: take a dye from the same color as your bag and apply it to the faded area. Afterward, wait for it to dry.
- Remove scratches and stains.
In order to remove scratches or stains from the leather bag, I recommend you use the magic eraser and place it in the affected area.
- Polish the leather.
Use neutral polish and apply it with a soft cloth to all areas of the bag.
Remember not to use water to clean leather bags, as this can seriously damage them.
